CHIEF CHEF - KANKI CRABTREE VALLEY MALL
Chau Pham, better known as Chef Chau, grew up in Vietnam and moved to the United States in 1995. His first job in the restaurant industry was as a busser at the Omni Hotel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 2001, he joined the Kanki team working as a server and a year later, he was given the opportunity to become part of the front-of-the-house management team. In 2004, he began training to become a teppanyaki chef under Chef Albert Lambert (former chief chef and now general manager). Chef Chau's experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry, including valuing quality food and customer service, led him to become the Chief Chef at our flagship Crabtree Valley Mall location in 2021.
